"Mallow" - Fine Art Print

"Mallow" - Fine Art Print

€22,00 EUR

There is a giant tree in front of my parents house, but underneath is just bare, dry earth. In an attempt to make this place more wild and colourful, I sowed a mix of wildflowers one year. Sadly, none of them bloomed as it was just too dry under this huge tree. Except for the mallow. It grew and grew and comes back every year since, showing us its beautiful purple flowers. Now, this mallow lives on in this print that can change a little corner of your home into a spot of wilderness.

MORE DETAILS

This Giclée Fine Art Print was created from my original miniature watercolour painting from the Summer Blossom Collection. The collection features eight watercolour artworks showing late summer in bloom. If you want to find out more about this collection, read this piece: Summer Blossom Collection.

Size: The fine art print comes in four sizes with a white border. The images show a 20 x 30 cm (A4) print. Please select your best size. It's delivered without a frame.

Materials: Hahnemühle Paper "German Etching".

Printing Company: ThePrintSpace

Colour Representation: Photographing prints isn’t easy, but I’ve tried my best to create images that represent the colours as true-to-colour as possible.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR ART

This print is printed in archival quality, which means that it is created to last long. It is estimated that the colours and paper quality will stay as they are up to 80 years when hung in your home, while when kept in the darkness it may stay vibrant and nice up to 200 years (says theprintspace). But who wants to put away a print? Feel free, but I'd rather suggest enjoying it in your life.

Anyway, the most important thing to keep in mind is to ideally keep it away from direct sunlight. If you like, you can search for a frame with museum glass that offers UV protection.

SUSTAINABILITY

All my fine art prints are printed and fulfilled through theprintspace, who are end-to-end carbon neutral. They’re using renewable energy for their print studios, shipping (where possible) with green options, calculating their emissions and then offsetting them by investing into renewable energy projects through The Gold Standard.

Additionally, I chose the Hahnemühle German Etching paper. A museum-quality, inkjet paper, produced in Germanys oldest paper mill. Hahnemühle's production process follows several environmental standards, they use renewable energy, care for the water they use and reemit to keep it clean. Besides, they build their own initiative to work on a local scale and with what they’ve got to offer as a paper mill.
